EXPRESSIONS
We welcome you warmly to our digital version of our
exhibition.
We hope you´ll have a good time when you look at all the
works that the 9 fine artists have made. You may feel a lot
of different feelings along the experience. You may form
a lot of questions. You may find answers as well.
In January 2023 representatives from Glad Fonden in
Denmark, Inuti in Sweden and Setlementii Tampere in
Finland met at Inuti I Stockholm to discuss the basic idea
of producing art TOGETHER. Like making an art baton.
We were quite excited about the idea. Can artists let go
of their work, and tolerate it to find another form in the
hands of another artist? How will it end up? And most
important, what can be learnt from such a process?
We are extremely grateful that NORDPLUS granted
the project, so we could look for answers. Without the
grant we would never have had an opportunity to work
and develop and learn together across the borders of
Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
2 years have passed. Lots of art has been in the making,
lots of meetings and a one weeklong workshop with
everybody attending has been held. And now we feel
very proud to share it all with all of you. So back to the
questions. Was the project instructive? Yes! It has been
a true banger of development. We have learnt so much
from each other.
Did we succeed? What to think about the art? It is up to
you. Enjoy the exhibition.
